Mistry Packtech Engineers

If you head over to Vatva, you'll find us working at Mistry Packtech Engineers. It is an industrial area, so it is always dusty and full of the constant sound of heavy machinery. Our shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of grease and oil. We spend most of the day assembling parts or fixing things that customers brought in for repair. It's hard work and our hands are rarely clean at the end of the day. The building is just a standard industrial shed, nothing special to look at from the outside. We have a small office area boxed off from the main floor so we can hear ourselves talk over the noise. Vatva is a busy place with trucks moving in and out all the time. We’ve got a few old machines that we still use because they work better than the newer ones we bought. It gets really hot in the summer, even with the big doors wide open to catch a breeze. We eat lunch together on the workbench sometimes when we are in a huge rush to finish an order. There isn't any fancy decor here, just tools, blueprints, and wooden crates. We know the neighbors in the other units and sometimes borrow tools or help them out with a heavy lift. It’s a practical place for practical work. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we know the sound of a machine that isn't running right just by listening closely.
