We share the same spot at 12, Hariom Estate on G.D. Highschool Road. Hirawadi is a place where people get their hands dirty. At Jonson Engineering & Moulding Company, we deal with plastic and metal parts. We have these moulding machines that take up most of the space. It’s not a quiet place to work. There’s always the smell of hot plastic and the clatter of parts falling into bins. We make things that go into other things. Most people never see the parts we make, but they need them to work. We spend a lot of time setting up the moulds. If the settings are off by a hair, the whole batch is scrap. So we pay attention. The office is just a small partitioned area where we keep the books and take orders. Saijpur-Boga is an industrial patch, so we fit right in. We aren't trying to be the biggest engineering firm in the country. We just want to do good work for the clients who have been with us for years. Some days the power goes out and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back on. That’s just part of being in an industrial estate. We keep the floor as clean as we can, but it’s an uphill battle with all the oil and scraps. It’s a solid business and we take it one day at a time.
