We are Silk Road Exporters Private Limited, and you can find us at the GIDC Quarters in Sector-26, specifically EG-2. Gandhinagar is a bit quieter than Ahmedabad, which we appreciate, though the GIDC area still has its own rhythm of work and trucks. Our name might sound like something out of a history book, but our daily life is very modern and practical. We spend most of our time in a fairly plain office room with old metal cupboards and a map on the wall that has seen better days. There is no corporate lobby or someone to open the door for you; you just walk in and find us working. We handle a lot of different things for export, and it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes we are dealing with small batches and other times it is much larger loads. The weather in Gandhinagar can be quite dry, so we always have a water cooler going in the corner. We aren't interested in sounding like a big polished company. We are just a group of people who know how to get products from one place to another without a lot of fuss. We stay busy with the local regulations and the endless forms that need filling out. It’s a lot of routine, but we are used to it and it keeps the lights on. We just get through our tasks day by day.
