Scanmass Electroncis

Scanmass Electronics is our small business located at E 56 in the GIDC Electronics Estate. We have been in this building for quite a while, and it has seen a lot of changes over the years. We mostly work on electronic boards and small devices. Our tables are usually a mess of wires, solder, and components. It’s not for everyone, but we enjoy the challenge of getting things to work. There are just a handful of us here, and we all do a bit of everything. We don't have a manager or a sales team. We just answer the phone when it rings and see what people need. The estate can get quite busy, especially when the shifts change at the bigger factories nearby. We stay mostly to ourselves and focus on the technical side of things. Sometimes we have to work under a magnifying glass for hours, which can be tiring for the eyes. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals written on the wall. Instead, we have a bunch of technical diagrams and a calendar that’s a few months out of date. We just take things as they come. If a client has a problem with a device, they bring it in and we see if we can diagnose it. It’s practical work and it keeps us busy. We don’t need much else to be happy with what we do here.
