Apex Electronics

Apex Electronics is located at E 236 in the GIDC Electronics Estate. We are right across from Devi Electronics in Sector 26. It’s a good location for what we do because there are so many other electronics shops nearby. The work here is mostly quiet, involving a lot of sitting at benches with soldering irons and small components. The floor is usually littered with bits of wire and solder. We don't have any fancy carpets or soft chairs. It’s just sturdy tables and bright lights so we can see what we are doing. Sometimes the fans are the only thing you can hear in the room. We get a lot of deliveries throughout the day, mostly small boxes of parts. The GIDC estate is a bit like a maze if you aren't used to it, but we’ve been here so long we could find our way in the dark. We spend a lot of time looking through magnifying glasses. It’s not an exciting job for everyone, but we like the detail work. During the breaks, we go outside to the little tea stall on the corner. The building is a standard GIDC block, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, we just try to keep things organized enough so we can find the right resistors when we need them for a circuit board.
