Entrepreneurship Development Institute Of India

We are over at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute Of India. The location is out via the Ahmedabad Airport, right near the Indira Bridge. It’s a fairly large campus with several buildings and lots of trees planted around. We spend our time working with people who want to start their own businesses. The atmosphere is academic but also practical. You’ll see students and teachers walking between the different blocks all day long. Because we are near the airport, you can often hear planes flying overhead. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center, but the bridge is a good landmark to follow. We have classrooms, some offices, and meeting spaces for the groups. It isn't a corporate office building; it feels more like a school. We’ve been established here for many years now. The grounds are kept tidy, and there are spots where people sit outside to talk under the shade. We don't have a lot of fancy signs, just the main gate. Most of our work involves planning programs and sitting in meetings about various projects. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but the buildings stay relatively cool. We just focus on the daily schedule and making sure everything is ready for the groups that come through. It is a busy place but the pace is steady. We like being out by the bridge away from the heavy city traffic and the noise.
