Natinal Institute Of Design is situated at C124 Ambicakrupa Society in Ranip. This is over in Ahmedabad. It’s a pretty standard residential society where we have our space. C124 is where we do all our daily tasks. Ranip is a part of town that feels more like a community than a business district. We’ve been here for a good while and people in Ambicakrupa Society know us. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time. Our office isn't something you’d see in a magazine. It’s just a room with some basic furniture and our equipment. We keep things very simple around here. No one is trying to impress anyone with a fancy office layout. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and go home. Ahmedabad has plenty of places like this. We like being in Ranip because it’s easy to get around from here. The society has a certain rhythm to it that we’ve become part of. We don't have a big sign or anything. It’s just the name on the door. It’s a practical way to run things without all the extra costs of a big downtown office. We just focus on the work itself. Most of our day is spent right here at C124. It’s just how we operate and it works for us. We don't ask for much else besides a quiet spot and some good light to work by.
