Our office is located on the first floor at 1-1-686/B, which is right above the More Super Market in New Bakaram. It is a handy spot because most people in the area already know exactly where the supermarket is. We spend the majority of our time at our desks or talking on the telephone. The stairs leading up to the office are a bit narrow and steep, so you have to be careful. Being in the Gandhi Nagar area means we are close to the center of things, but it also means that finding a place to park a bike or a car is always a bit of a struggle. Inside the office, we have a few computers and cabinets full of files. We deal with various products and people who supply them, so there is always a lot of coordination to do throughout the day. The windows look out over the main street, and we can see all the people coming and going from the market below. It gets quite noisy during the evening hours when everyone is out shopping. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle to make tea during our breaks. Most of our work involves checking on orders and making sure things are moving along like they should. We do not have a big flashy sign on the building, just the name on the door. Sometimes the power goes off and we all have to take a break until it comes back. The team here is small, so we all help out.
