Our shop is over in Sector-25 of the GIDC area, specifically at B 210 and 211. If you know this part of the industrial estate, you know it can get quite dusty and loud with all the factories around. We work on mobile automation systems here. It’s mostly technical stuff, dealing with sensors and controllers that go on big machines. The building is a standard industrial unit, nothing special to look at, but it works for what we do. We have some heavy tools and testing equipment spread across the floor. Sometimes it gets a bit disorganized when we have three or four projects going at once. We usually have the main shutter open to get some air in, though that doesn't help much in the summer. The team is small, mostly guys who like fixing things and figuring out why a circuit isn't working. We spend a lot of time looking at screens or soldering small parts. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten at the back table. GIDC is a bit far from the main city, so once we are here, we stay put until the evening. We deal with a lot of local companies who need their equipment to run better. There isn't much ceremony here; we just put on our work clothes and get to it. Some days we are out on site, but mostly you’ll find us right here in the units. It is what it is, just a plain workplace where we get things done.
