Mafatlal School Uniform

We are located on the first floor of the District Shopping Centre in Gandhinagar, specifically in Sector 21. If you walk up to B/4, you’ll find our shop. It is usually filled with stacks of fabric and ready-made uniforms for the local schools. The shopping center can get pretty busy, especially on weekends when parents bring their children to get measured. We have a few sewing machines in the back and a small changing area so kids can try things on. Sometimes the piles of shirts and trousers get a bit messy during the rush, but we sort through them every evening. Our address is right in the middle of things here in Gujarat. We’ve been sitting in this same spot for quite some time, watching the families grow up. A kid comes in for a small size one year, and before you know it, they need the largest size we have. We keep the blue, white, and khaki cloths ready because those are what most schools around here ask for. It’s just a regular shop with fluorescent lights and the smell of new fabric. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are on the first floor. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. It’s a practical business. We focus on making sure the buttons are sewn on tight and the hems are straight for the students. There is always a lot of measuring and cutting to do.
