Jay Chandal Pir Handicrafts

We started Jay Chandal Pir Handicrafts right here in Ahmedabad a while back. Our workshop is tucked away at A-12 Dhawni Tenaments, just near Patel Vas and behind that Municipal School in Isanpur. Most days it’s pretty loud with the tools going and people coming in to check on their orders. We spend a lot of time working with our hands because that’s just how we do things. It isn't a fancy setup or anything, just a practical space where we get the work done. You can usually find us surrounded by materials and half-finished pieces. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon gets a bit much, but we keep at it. Neighbors stop by often just to say hello while they’re walking their kids to the school nearby. We don't have a big corporate office or a team of secretaries. It’s just us making stuff that we hope people find useful for their homes. The area gets a bit crowded during the morning rush, but it's a good spot to be. We handle the packing ourselves and try to make sure everything is sturdy before it leaves the door. Living and working in the same neighborhood means we know most of the faces around here. It’s a simple life, focused on the crafts we make day in and day out. We just try to keep the quality decent and stay busy enough to keep the lights on at Dhawni Tenaments. We don't mind the noise from the school kids much. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
