We've been at Plot No- 115 in the GIDC area of Dehgam for a while now. You can find us right behind the Dehgam International School. It's a busy spot but we like it here. My father started this shop years ago and I've been running the floor for about fifteen years. We mostly deal with metal parts and some heavy machinery repairs. People from around the district come to us when something breaks or they need a custom part made. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. It's just a workshop with a lot of tools and grease. Most days it is noisy and dusty. We try to get things done on time but sometimes parts take longer to arrive than we want. The guys working here are local. We know the machines inside out. We don't spend money on advertising or websites much because word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough. If you drive past the school and turn into the GIDC lane, you'll see our sign. It’s a bit faded now. We keep a stock of basic materials so we can start jobs quickly. Sometimes the power goes out in this area which slows us down, but we manage. We just focus on the work sitting on the bench today. It isn't a complicated business, just engineering and fixing stuff. We’ve seen Dehgam change a lot over the years.
