Government Engineering College (Gandhinagar)

Our college is tucked away in the Gheekanta area, specifically in Ratiawadi. If you know where the Madhuram Cinema is on Mirzapur Road, we are right opposite that. We are also situated behind the Sandesh Press building. It is a bit of a labyrinth to find us if you aren't from around here, but once you know the landmarks, it’s easy enough. Being a government institution, things are pretty standard. We have the usual administrative offices and the lecture halls for the engineering students. It’s a place with a lot of history and the buildings show it a bit. We don't have the big budgets for fancy renovations, so we make do with what we have. It’s a functional space for learning. The labs have the equipment needed for the curriculum, and the faculty members have been here for years. You’ll see students hanging out near the entrance or heading over to the cinema area during their breaks. It is a very local vibe. We don't put on any airs. It’s about getting the work done and making sure the exams are handled. The area around Gheekanta is always moving, so there is plenty of noise from the street. We’re just part of the neighborhood, providing engineering education to anyone who comes through our doors. It’s a solid, no-nonsense kind of place to be, and we have been at this for many years now.
