You can find us at 12, Hariom Estate, right on G.D. Highschool Road. This part of Hirawadi is full of small workshops like ours. Gajanand Elastic Lace Works is mostly about the sound of machines. We make elastics and various types of laces. It’s noisy and there is always a bit of lint in the air. We’ve been in Saijpur-Boga for quite some time now. The guys on the floor know the machines inside out. If something breaks, we usually fix it ourselves. We don't have a polished showroom. Most people who come here are looking for bulk supplies for their own sewing or manufacturing. We show them the rolls of elastic and the patterns of lace we have ready. Sometimes we customize things if the order is big enough. The estate is busy, and there’s always someone loading a tempo or unloading raw materials. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend money on fancy furniture for the office because we’d rather keep the machines running well. The work is repetitive but it’s what we know. We start early in the morning before the heat gets too bad. By the end of the day, we’re tired and covered in dust, but the orders are ready to go out. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We appreciate the steady business from the garment makers nearby.
