Camba Spa & Resort G'Nagar

Our resort is out in Sector-26 of Gandhinagar, specifically in the Green City area near the GIDC. It’s a bit of a trek from the main part of town, but that’s kind of the point. We have a lot of space here on Plot No D-16. Most of our day is spent looking after the grounds and making sure the spa area is tidy. It’s not a high-pressure corporate office environment. We move at a bit of a slower pace, but there’s still plenty to do. We deal with people coming in to relax, so we try to keep things calm. The building is simple, and we spend a lot of time outdoors checking on the plants and the pool. Sometimes the weather in Gujarat makes things a bit dusty, so we’re always cleaning. We don't have a lot of fancy words for what we do. We just provide a place for people to take a break. The staff usually knows the guests by name if they stay for more than a day. We spend time on the phone taking bookings and making sure we have enough towels and supplies. It’s a practical business, and we’re just the ones here making sure it stays open and functional for whoever shows up. It is a big property to manage, but we take it one day at a time here in Gandhinagar.
