Bhaskar Food Products

We are on the first floor at 1905 in Bhavsar Sheri. It’s right near the Jain Derasar in Sarkhej Gam. The streets around here are quite narrow so it’s hard for big vehicles to get in. We have to carry a lot of stuff up the stairs by hand. It keeps us fit I guess. Sarkhej Gam has a lot of history and you can feel it when you walk around the neighborhood. Our workspace is pretty simple. We process different food items here. The smell of spices is always in the air. Sometimes it makes you sneeze if the bags aren't closed right. We are a small team and we all do a bit of everything. One day you might be packing and the next you are cleaning the equipment. We don't have fancy office chairs or big windows. It’s just a practical space for making food products. The Jain Derasar is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We've been in this Sheri for a long time. Everyone knows us and we know the other shop owners. It’s a community feeling. We just keep our heads down and do the work. Sometimes we sit on the steps for a break. It's not a big corporate setup but we get things done well enough and stay busy.
