Anand Hospital

Anand Hospital sits on Plot No. 249 in Sector 28. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main markets, but we stay busy with the families living nearby. The building is a simple structure that we’ve modified over the years to fit more beds and a small lab area. When you walk in, you’ll see the reception area which is usually piled high with folders. We haven't moved everything to computers yet, so there’s a lot of writing involved. The lighting is a bit bright, but it helps when the doctors are looking at charts. We handle the usual stuff like childhood vaccinations and checking blood pressure for the elderly folks in the sector. Sometimes we have to send people elsewhere if it’s something really big, but for most daily health issues, we are right here. The staff likes to chat with the patients, which sometimes makes the schedule run a bit behind, but it’s a friendly atmosphere. We have a small bench outside for people who want some fresh air while they wait. It’s not a shiny new facility, but it’s ours and we keep it running. Sector 28 is a good community, and we’ve become a part of the daily rhythm here. We just try to be useful and keep things moving as best as we can without making too much of a fuss.
