Alfa Restaurant

You can find us at Plot No 316 and 317 right in the middle of the Gandhinagar Shopping Centre in Sector 17. It is a very busy area with people coming and going all day long. Alfa Restaurant stays pretty crowded during the lunch hours, so the staff is always moving fast. We have the kitchen in the back where the stove never really cools down until late at night. The tiles on the floor are a bit worn out from all the walking, but we keep them scrubbed. We have been here in Sector 17 for a long time, watching the other shops change names while we stay the same. The shopping center is old, and you can feel that history when you walk in. We do not have fancy menus with pictures; it is just simple food that people like. Sometimes the delivery bikes block the front for a minute, and the noise from the street comes right through the door. It gets hot near the ovens, especially in the summer. We mostly just keep our heads down and serve the people who walk in. Some regulars have been coming here since they were kids. It is a plain place with wooden tables and a lot of steam in the air. We are just a local spot trying to keep up with the daily rush of Gandhinagar. The ceiling fans hum all day, and the cashier usually has a radio playing somewhere in the background.
