Above High Pre School

Up in Kubernagar, we have this little pre-school called Above High. It’s a busy part of Ahmedabad, and the school sits right in the middle of it all. Working with pre-schoolers means there’s never a dull moment during the day. The rooms are usually filled with the sounds of songs or just kids talking over each other. It’s a small operation, not like those big chain schools you see in the newer parts of the city. We focus on the basics and making sure the children are looked after. The building is modest, and we try to keep things organized, even though it’s tough with so many little ones running around. Most people around Kubernagar know us because they see the kids playing or hear the morning routine. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to polish up our image. It’s just us and the kids. The neighborhood has its own rhythm, and we’re just a small part of that daily cycle. Sometimes it gets a bit messy, and there’s always something that needs fixing, but that’s just the reality of running a school for toddlers. We like being in this area because it feels like home to us. It’s a simple place with a simple goal of keeping the kids occupied and learning a bit along the way. Most parents just drop their kids off and have a quick chat with us before heading to work.
