Shivam Furniture

We have been here at Plot No 233 for a while now. It's just a small shop, number 2, in Ward 12/b of Gandhidham. People around here know us as Shivam Furniture. It’s mostly just us working with wood and making stuff people need for their houses. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty in here, but that's just how it goes when you’re cutting and sanding all day. We started out small and stayed that way, which suits us fine. You can find us pretty easily if you know the ward. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get built. If you walk in, you'll probably see someone measuring something or moving a chair around. We handle a lot of different wood items. We don't really do big advertisements. Most folks just hear about us from their neighbors or walk past the shop while they're out doing errands in Gandhidham-kachchh. It's a busy area, but we keep to our corner. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs a cupboard or a table, they come in and talk to us. We listen, write it down, and then get to work. It takes time to make things right, so we don't rush. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. It's a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is.
