J R Corporation is out in Gandhidham, specifically at Plot No 6-7 in Sector 10/C of the GIDC area. We are located right behind the TTC Weighbridge, so we see a lot of heavy trucks and trailers passing by all day long. The air here in Kachchh often smells of salt and dust, and it can get incredibly hot during the summer months. Our office is a simple building that serves its purpose. We have a yard area where materials are kept, and things can look a bit cluttered when a big shipment arrives. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a couple of old cupboards for files, and the sound of the ceiling fans. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. Mostly, it’s just calendars and maybe a few notes pinned up. We deal with a lot of people from the transport sector, so the atmosphere is quite rugged. People come in and out, checking weights and documents. We usually keep a large water cooler filled because of the heat. Most of our team has been working in the GIDC area for years, so we’re used to the industrial environment and the lack of greenery. It’s a tough place to work sometimes because of the weather and the noise, but we just get on with it. When the sun starts to set over the dry landscape, we finish up our logs and head home.
