Our place is located at 2A in Santej, near Kalol. This area has changed quite a bit since we first set up our operations here. It used to be mostly open land, but now there are factories everywhere you look. We deal with polyplast products, which means there is a lot of machinery involved. The main floor is always humming with the sound of the extruders. It is a bit of a messy environment with plastic scraps and the smell of warm materials, but that is just part of the job. Our office is a small room attached to the side of the main shed. It is not very fancy, just some metal cupboards and a few chairs that have seen better days. We do not have a big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door. Usually, you just walk in and find whoever is available. Most of the staff comes from the nearby villages. We have lunch together in the shade when the sun is too hot. We are not trying to be a world-class leader or anything like that. We just want to make decent products and keep the machines running without too many breakdowns. The road outside is bumpy and gets muddy when it rains, but we manage. It is just a basic factory life here in Santej and we are fine with that.
