You can find us on Bazar Road, right near the Padagatti in Laxmeshwar. The shop isn't very large, and it’s usually humming with the sound of three or four cooling fans running at once. We have a few old monitors sitting on the counter and cables tangled up in the corners. People from all over the Shirahatti district come in when they have trouble with their machines or need something printed out. The floor is tiled but it gets dirty fast because of all the foot traffic from the bazar. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to tell people to come back in an hour, which they don't always like. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and trying to figure out why a piece of software isn't loading right. It gets a bit hot in here with all the electronics running, so we keep the front door wide open. Kids come in wanting to play games or look things up for school. We keep a stack of paper and extra ink cartridges under the main desk. It’s a bit of a messy place with screwdrivers and spare parts lying around. We don't have any fancy uniforms or a front desk person. It is just us sitting among the towers and keyboards, fixing what we can and helping people with their digital chores. It’s a lot of small tasks that keep the day moving along until closing.
