We are Nidgundi Stone Suppliers, located over at 5th Cross in Vidyanagar. This is in the Lakshmeshwar area, specifically near Gorunur. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the big cities, which we actually like. We spend our time sourcing and moving stone for various local jobs. There are a lot of small construction projects around here and we help out where we can. The business is run by just a few of us. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone like that. Usually, it’s just someone calling the phone or stopping by the yard to see what we have in stock. The stone comes in various sizes and we try to keep enough on hand so nobody has to wait too long. Sometimes the delivery truck is late or the weather makes it hard to move the heavy stuff, but we manage. We’ve lived in this part of Vidyanagar for years, so we know most of the families and builders nearby. It’s the kind of place where a handshake still means something. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just supply stone. Our yard isn't the cleanest place because of all the stone dust, but it’s a working site. We are just glad to be able to make a living right here in our own community. It’s simple work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. That's just how life is here.
