Lumina Overseas

Lumina Overseas is situated at No. 1/135 in Suhag Nagar. It’s more of a residential neighborhood. We started this in a small room and it grew from there. Now we use a good part of the ground floor. It’s a bit cramped because we have a lot of samples lying around. The neighbors are nice. We try not to make too much noise when the trucks come to pick up the orders. Suhag Nagar is a friendly place. There’s a small shop across the street where we get our snacks. We spend our days checking quality and talking to suppliers. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear regular clothes and just work. Sometimes the internet goes out and we have to wait a bit. We use that time to tidy up the shelves. The floor is tiled but some of them are cracked. We’ve been meaning to fix that. There’s a small desk by the window where we do the accounts. It’s quite sunny in the mornings. We don't have any big slogans. We just try to get the orders right. It’s a family-run kind of thing. Everyone helps out with everything. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. That’s just how we do things at Lumina. It gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of stuff waiting to go out. We just stack it as neatly as we can.
