Our place, Das Research And Development Technology, is located in Village Latour, which is near Sirhind in Fatehgarh Sahib. Being out in the village is a bit different from being in a big city center. The air is a little cleaner and the pace is definitely slower, which we actually like. We do a lot of our technical research and development work right here among the fields. It sounds like an odd mix to some, but it works well for us. The drive out to Sirhind every morning gives us time to think before we start the day. Our office is a simple building that serves its purpose. We have our computers and testing equipment set up, and we spend most of the day digging into data or trying to build something new. There are no fancy cafeterias here, just some local spots where we get our food. People in the village know us as the tech guys working in the big room near the road. We don't try to act like we're some huge global corporation with shiny floors. We're just a small team in Punjab trying to figure out how to make things work better. The internet can be a bit spotty when the weather is bad, but we manage just fine. It’s a quiet life, but the work we do is quite complex. We like the balance of being in a rural area while working on modern technology. It keeps us grounded while we think about the future.
