Krishna Marbles

Krishna Marbles is sitting right on Chandigarh Road, close to the railway flyover. It is a loud spot because of the trains passing by and the heavy traffic on the road, but we have been here long enough that we don't even notice it anymore. We don't have a big glass showroom or anything like that. Our setup is just a large yard with stacks of marble and some basic sheds for the cutters. Most of the day, we are out in the sun showing people the different batches that have come in. Marble is a natural material, so no two pieces are the same, and we spend a lot of time helping people pick out slabs that match. We don't use any fancy language to sell our stuff. If a piece has a crack or a weird spot, we point it out so there are no surprises later. It is honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We have a small tea stall nearby where we take breaks and talk to the drivers who bring the stone in. The yard can get a bit muddy when it rains, and the dust is always there, but that is just the marble business. We focus on getting the measurements right and helping people get their stone loaded onto their trucks. It is not a complicated way to make a living, but we enjoy the work we do here.
