Autodraft

The office is tucked away in the Janta Flats here in Delhi, specifically at 1512 13. Space is tight here, but it works for what we do at Autodraft. Most days are spent sitting at the desks and looking at the screens. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who show up every morning around ten. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so you hear children playing outside or people selling vegetables in the street. This place looks nothing like those big glass buildings you see in the city center. We keep the doors closed when the dust picks up outside. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage. There is a small corner where we keep the kettle for making chai. We do not really have meetings in fancy rooms; we just talk across the tables when something needs fixing. It is a quiet place for the most part. People find us by the flat number, and we usually have to give directions over the phone because the lanes can be a bit confusing for someone visiting the first time. We handle the drawings and the technical stuff without making much of a fuss. It is just a regular job in a regular part of Delhi. We stay until the work is finished, then lock up and go home like everyone else around here.
