Our place is over at Plot No. 20 in Sector-24, which is easy to find if you know the area. We deal with heavy machinery, so there is always a lot of iron and big tires sitting around the yard. It can look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is kept. The guys spend the day pulling apart engines or fixing hydraulic leaks on backhoes. It is greasy work, and your hands never really get clean, no matter how much soap you use. We have some old desks in the small office area where we keep the manuals and the spare parts lists, but nobody stays in there for very long. Most of the time, we are outside under the sheds or out in the sun if the machine is too big to move inside. It gets noisy when someone is testing an engine or using a pneumatic wrench, so you have to yell a bit to be heard. We’ve had some of the same mechanics for years, and they can tell what’s wrong with a machine just by the sound it makes when it starts up. The rain makes the yard muddy, which is a pain, but the work doesn't stop because of a little weather. We just want to make sure the equipment leaves here working better than when it arrived. We are just a group of people who like engines and don't mind getting dirty.
