Swastik Estate

Sukhrali is a busy spot. Our office for Swastik Estate is right on MG Road. You know how the traffic is there, always something moving and horns honking. We are right opposite the Community Center. People use that as a landmark when they are trying to find us for the first time. We’ve been here for a while now. It’s a small team, mostly just two or three of us drinking chai and looking at old property listings. We don't have a huge staff or fancy uniforms. When someone comes in, they usually want to know about shops or small flats nearby. MG Road has everything, so it’s always a popular place for people to look. We try to keep track of who is selling what by talking to the other shopkeepers. It’s a lot of phone calls and walking around to check on the state of the buildings. Sometimes the weather is too hot to be out, but that's just part of the job. The Community Center gets loud during the wedding season, but we don't mind much. It makes the whole area feel alive and busy. We don't use computers for every single thing, we still have some old registers and notebooks. It feels more real that way. We know the landlords around here personally. They stop by to tell us about a leak or ask if we found a good tenant yet. That is just how things go in Sukhrali. It's not flashy, but it is what we do.
