Surya Ortho And Trauma Centre is situated right near B K Chowk, specifically at 5r/5 in the Nit area. Being located so close to such a busy junction means we get a lot of walk-ins, especially people who have had some kind of accident or a sudden injury. It is an orthopedic place, so there are always crutches and leg casts leaning against the walls. The lobby is usually filled up with people waiting for their X-rays or waiting for a doctor to take a look at a broken bone. It can get a bit chaotic, especially on Monday mornings when everyone seems to come in at once. We have the X-ray machine tucked in the back and a few small rooms for doing procedures. It is definitely not a quiet place, as there is always the sound of people moving around and the heavy traffic noise from outside. Our staff is very used to dealing with folks who are in a lot of pain, so we try to be as quick as we can while still being careful. We have a lot of storage space for bandages, splints, and all the other stuff you need for fixing bones. The walls have some old posters about bone health, and the paint is peeling a little bit in the corners. We aren't worried about the looks of the place too much; we care more about whether the equipment is working. It’s a busy, practical clinic.
