Surya Ortho & Trauma Centre

Surya Ortho & Trauma Centre is located at 5r/5/1 in the Nit area. Being an ortho and trauma center, things can get a bit loud or rushed here. We deal with a lot of folks who have had a bit of bad luck, maybe a fall or a bang. You see a lot of casts and bandages around the office. The building itself is pretty basic. We’ve got the equipment we need shoved into the rooms. It’s not a place where you come to relax, that’s for sure. We are usually moving fast. The Nit neighborhood is always moving too. There is a lot of energy outside. Inside, we try to keep some order. The floors are hard and easy to mop up. We’ve got a few desks where we handle the insurance and the IDs. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s dead silent for an hour. We don’t put on any acts here. If someone is hurting, we just try to get them sorted out. Most of us have been working in this field long enough that not much surprises us anymore. We drink a lot of coffee in the back room when we get a second. It’s a lot of physical work, helping people get around or positioning them for an x-ray. It’s just what we do. We close up at the end of the day and head home like everyone else. It's a tough job sometimes, but we are all used to the routine by now.
