Surajkund International School

Our school is over in Sector 39, Faridabad. It’s a residential neighborhood, so we are surrounded by houses and local shops. Most of the families who send their children here live just a few streets away. It makes for a nice community feeling because you see the same people at the grocery store that you see at the school gate. The building is a decent size with enough room for all the different grades we have. We have a small area for sports and a courtyard where everyone gathers for assembly in the mornings. It’s not a quiet place by any means; there’s always someone practicing a song or a group of kids laughing in the hallway. We don’t really do the whole corporate polish thing. Our office is usually full of stacks of paper and the phone is always ringing with someone asking about the bus schedule or a lost sweater. The teachers here are hard workers who have been with us through many seasons. We try to keep the classrooms bright, even if the paint gets chipped here and there from the kids being active. Being in the 121010 area means we deal with the usual city issues like power cuts or traffic, but we just get on with it. It’s a regular school for regular people, and we are happy to be part of the Sector 39 landscape.
