Sunil Super Store

Huda Market in Sector-7 is a place that never really stays quiet, and Sunil Super Store is right in the middle of it at Shop No-32. I’ve been running this place for a long time. Sector-7 is a good area, mostly families who have lived here for decades. They come in for their monthly groceries or just a single packet of salt they forgot to buy. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it's hard to find where I put the smaller items, like matchboxes or specific spices, but I usually remember eventually. It’s a bit cramped in here when more than three people enter at once. I spend a lot of time checking the stock and talking to the distributors who pull their vans up outside. The market gets really crowded on weekends. You can barely see the pavement with all the scooters parked everywhere. I start my day by cleaning the front area and setting out the crates of milk. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy bags of flour or sugar, and my back feels it by the evening. I don’t have any fancy computer systems; I still use a notebook for most things. It’s just how I’ve always done it. People know me here, and I know which brand of tea they like. It’s a plain life but it keeps me busy and connected to Faridabad.
