Sumit Engineering & Fabricators

We are Sumit Engineering & Fabricators, located at 1D/55A, near Hardware Chowk in the Nit area. Being near Hardware Chowk is handy because we can get supplies pretty quickly when we run out of something. Our shop is mostly focused on fabrication, so we do a lot of welding and cutting. It’s a bit of a mess most of the time, with scraps of metal and welding rods scattered around, but we know where everything is. We don't really have a formal "About Us" story. We just started working here because we knew how to build things out of steel. It’s a small crew, and we’ve all known each other for a long time. The office is just a corner of the shop partitioned off with some boards to keep the sparks away from the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to sit around and wait, which is frustrating, but that’s life in this part of town. We take on all sorts of jobs, from fixing a gate to building frames for small sheds. We don't do much marketing; we just rely on people seeing our work and coming by. It's a practical business. We show up early, get the torches going, and work until the job is done. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but we get the work done honestly and without much fuss. It's just a normal workshop doing everyday engineering.
