Central Public Works Department

Our office is located at House No-28 in Sector-8 of Faridabad, Haryana. Being with the Central Public Works Department means we are usually looking at some kind of construction or maintenance project around the area. It is a government office, plain and simple. We have the usual desks piled up with files, blueprints, and old ledgers. Sector-8 is a pretty established part of town, so we’ve been operating out of this spot for quite a while. We aren’t here to make a profit or run big advertising campaigns. Our job is just to oversee the public buildings and make sure the roads and structures are being taken care of like they should be. It involves a lot of site visits and sitting in meetings to discuss how the work is progressing. The team here knows the local streets and buildings inside out. We deal with contractors and workers every day, and it isn't always smooth sailing. There are often delays or issues with getting the right materials on time, but we just try to keep things moving forward. It’s honest, steady work, even if it feels a bit slow sometimes because of all the paperwork and regulations. We just show up every morning, drink our tea, and get through the list of tasks we have for the day. It is about keeping the infrastructure functional for everyone in the city.
