Standard Mutton Shop

Located at 1295 in Faridabad City, we’ve been serving the local neighborhood for quite some time. The shop is small and smells of fresh meat and sawdust. We start very early, usually before the sun is even up, to get the meat ready for the day. It’s physical work, using the heavy knives and the chopping block. You have to be careful and stay focused. We have regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know exactly what they want, and we usually have it ready before they even ask. We don't have a fancy display case, just the hooks and the counter. The floor has to be washed multiple times a day to keep things right. It’s a loud place sometimes, with the sounds of the market and people talking. We don't have any flashy signs or commercials. Word of mouth is how people find us. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather is bad, but we still open up the shutters at the same time. It’s a simple business. We focus on getting good stock and making sure the cuts are what the customers need for their cooking. By the end of the day, our aprons are dirty and we are tired, but we lock up and do it again tomorrow. It’s just how it goes here in Faridabad. We try to keep things steady and keep the customers happy without much fuss.
