Smart Kids Abacus Academy

Our academy is located right at the border of Sector 17 and Sector 16, at house number 1797. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s pretty calm during the day. We set up Smart Kids Abacus Academy here to give the local kids a place to learn something useful after their regular school hours are done. It’s not a big school building, just a dedicated space inside the house. We have rows of small desks and plenty of abacus tools lying around on the shelves. You’ll usually hear the clicking sound of the beads if you happen to walk by in the late afternoon. We started this because we saw how much kids could benefit from learning this way. The atmosphere here is pretty relaxed. We don’t wear uniforms or have a lot of strict rules like a big corporation would. It’s just us teaching and the kids trying their best to get the numbers right. Parents often wait outside on the porch or have a quick chat while their children are finishing up their work. The room gets a lot of nice sunlight in the morning, which makes it a pleasant place to be. We keep things very simple around here. There are no fancy brochures or big advertisements. Most people find out about us from their neighbors or friends. We’ve been at 1797 for quite some time now. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a full class, but we always make it work somehow. Every day is a bit different.
