Our workshop, Td Rubber Works, is situated in Rajeev Colony, right near the Palwal Timber Trader in Sector-25. It’s a very industrial part of town, so you’ll hear the sound of machinery everywhere. We focus on making different kinds of rubber products and parts. The smell of hot rubber is pretty much always in the air here. It’s a small operation, and the floor is usually covered in scraps and dust from the manufacturing process. We have a few old presses and molds that we’ve been using for years. They aren't the newest models, but they work fine for what we need to do. We don't have a fancy front office or someone to greet you at the door. Usually, we’re all in the back working on a batch of orders. Most of our customers are other local businesses in Sector-25 who need specific parts for their own machines. We started this place because there was a need for a local rubber source, and we’ve just kept going since then. The summers are tough because the heat from the machines makes the shed really hot, but we just get on with it. We don't spend time on promotional stuff. We just focus on making sure the rubber is cured right and the sizes are what the customer asked for. Sometimes the orders get backed up and we stay late finishing a batch under the dim lights. We don't have many visitors, just the delivery guys or the occasional neighbor.
