Satbir General Store

Satbir General Store is tucked away in Sarai Village, which is part of Faridabad City. We are located near the Sarai Bazar, so there is always a lot of foot traffic around the corner. Mathura Road is close by, but the village streets have a different feel to them. I have lived in this area my whole life and the store is where I spend most of my time. We sell the usual things like flour, soap, and other stuff people need for their homes. It is not a large shop, so things are just stacked wherever they can fit on the wooden shelves. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow lanes when they arrive, which is a bit of a mess for the people living nearby. We try to keep things in stock so nobody has to walk all the way to the main markets for a single item. The 121002 area has changed since I was a kid, with many new buildings, but this shop stays pretty much as it was. People come in for a bag of sugar and stay to talk about what is happening in the neighborhood. It is a quiet way to earn a living. We do not have fancy displays or air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that makes a lot of noise in the summer. It is just basic work and we have been here for years.
