Sarvodaya Hospital

Running Sarvodaya Hospital on YMCA Road means there is never a dull moment. Sector 8 is a busy area, and being right on this stretch of road means we see a lot of traffic and people. The hospital itself is a place where we spend most of our lives. We don’t have a big marketing team writing stuff for us, so this is just us talking. The hallways are usually full of people and the sound of trolleys moving around. Our nurses are always on their feet, and sometimes the reception area feels a bit small when everyone arrives at once. It’s a practical setup. We’ve got the equipment we need and we make sure things are clean and working. People come here because they know we are here on the road and easy to find. We’ve seen kids grow up and come back with their own families over the years. It’s just how things go in Sector 8. Sometimes the power flickers or the phones don't stop ringing, but we just handle it one thing at a time. It isn't a five-star hotel, it’s a hospital. We try to keep things moving so people can go home to their families. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. The day usually ends late, and then it all starts again the next morning at dawn and we do it all over.
