You can find us at E-792A in S.G.M. Nagar, right on the Badkhal Road in Faridabad. This place is always moving, from the early morning shift changes to the late night emergency arrivals. It is a big building but it feels crowded because there is so much going on in every hallway. We have the research center side and the regular hospital side, so you see a mix of doctors in white coats and people just coming in for a checkup. The smell of disinfectant is everywhere, which is something you just get used to after working here for a week. In the lobby, there are usually rows of people waiting, and the chairs are not the most comfortable, but they serve the purpose. We have a lot of different departments spread across the floors, and sometimes even we get a bit turned around in the back corridors. It is a serious place because of the nature of the work, but you still hear the staff joking around in the break room to keep their spirits up. The traffic outside on Badkhal Road is usually loud, and you can hear the horns honking even from the inner rooms. We just keep doing what we need to do, day in and day out, making sure the machines are running and the rooms are ready for whoever comes through the doors next. We usually take our breaks at different times to make sure someone is always at the station. It is a long walk to the canteen from the research wing.
