Sai General Store

Sai General Store is located over in Sector 21D at G-19 in Indira Enclave, Faridabad. We’ve been at this spot for a decent amount of time. People living in the nearby blocks usually drop in for their household essentials. We carry things like pulses, oils, biscuits, and cleaning supplies. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of shelf space we have. Sometimes things get a little dusty on the top racks, but we try to keep it clean. It’s mostly just us working here, so if it’s busy, you might have to wait a minute or two while we weigh out things or find change. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just see the sign when they're walking or driving through the enclave. The weather in Faridabad can get pretty hot, so we keep the fan running full blast behind the counter. We get our supplies from a few different distributors who come by during the week. Sometimes they forget an item, and we have to wait until the next trip. That's just part of running a local shop. We don’t have a fancy computer system for everything; we still do a lot of things the old way. It works for us and the people who live around here. We just focus on keeping the basics in stock so no one has to go too far for a bag of sugar or a bottle of water.
