We have this small place, G. F. 15, in City Mall on Mathura Road. It is right in Sector 12, so there is always a lot of foot traffic passing by our door. S M Realty started because we saw how many people were having a hard time finding decent places to rent or buy around here. The mall can get pretty noisy on the weekends, but our corner is usually where the actual work happens. We handle a bit of everything, from small flats to larger commercial spaces along the main road. I’ve spent a lot of my time driving up and down Mathura Road looking at different sites and talking to owners. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly just making phone calls and checking over boring documents. Sometimes we stay late because a client can only meet after their own work shift ends. That’s just part of being a local business. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything fancy like that. Most of our clients are just regular people who walked in while doing their shopping or heard about us from a friend. We try to be upfront about prices and the actual state of the buildings. If a place has issues, we’ll just mention it. It saves everyone a lot of trouble in the long run. We’ve been in this shop for a while and know the local market pretty well, so we just do our best to help out.
