We’ve been here in Faridabad at the B 410/411 spot in NIT for a good while now. It’s right by Neelam Bata Chowk, so it gets pretty loud with the traffic outside sometimes, but we’re used to it. The office is just a regular place where we keep our papers and meet folks who are looking for a house or trying to sell one. Most days start with opening the shutters and getting the computer running. It’s not a fancy setup, just some desks and chairs and a lot of maps on the wall. Reliance Estate Agency is basically just us doing the work every day. Sometimes people walk in just to ask for directions because of where we are located near the chowk. We don’t mind. It’s a busy part of town and there’s always something happening right outside the door. My desk is usually covered in notebooks and tea coasters. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out walking around the blocks looking at different buildings. It gets dusty in the summer, and the fan doesn’t always do enough, but that’s just how it is here. We know the streets around NIT pretty well by now. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sorting through files or talking to one of the neighbors. It’s just honest work. We try to keep things simple and don’t really go in for big speeches. It is what it is and we stay busy.
