Our office is on the second floor of House Number 15 in Block Number 11. We are situated in the Spring Field Colony, which is part of Sector 31-32 in Faridabad. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s not like being in a big glass office building. You have to walk up to the second floor to reach us here at Reinforced Earth India Pvt.Ltd. The space is filled with computers, printers, and a lot of binders full of technical specs. Since we are in Faridabad, it gets very dusty outside, and we are constantly cleaning the desks. We handle a lot of the structural work from here, mostly focusing on how to keep earth and soil in place for big roads or bridges. It’s a lot of math and looking at soil reports. The staff takes their lunch together in a small break area, and there’s usually a lot of talk about the local traffic on the Mathura Road. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls. It is just a place where we do our jobs and try to keep things moving. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of chai, but we manage. Being in a colony means it is relatively quiet compared to the main industrial zones of the city, which helps when we need to concentrate on the drawings. It is a simple setup but it works for what we need to do.
