Rajni Provisional Store

You can find us right in the middle of the Main Bazar in Old Faridabad at 89/9. Rajni Provisional Store is a small family-run place where we sell all the basic things a household needs. The bazar is always incredibly crowded, especially in the evenings, so there’s a lot of shouting and horns honking outside. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with snacks, household cleaners, and dry goods. It’s a bit messy because we have to use every inch of space we have for the stock. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the market change a lot, but our shop stays pretty much the same. We don’t have a big team, it's just us and sometimes a cousin or two helping out during the festival seasons. We don't do home delivery or have a computer for bills, we just write everything down in a notebook or do the math in our heads. It’s the old way of doing things, but it works for us and our customers. Sometimes it gets so busy we can’t even step out for a quick lunch, but that's just life in the bazar. We aren't trying to be the biggest store, just a place where you can get your groceries without any trouble. It’s a simple life behind the counter and we like seeing the familiar faces of the regular shoppers who come in every week for their sugar and oil.
