Our firm, Rajeev Jain & Associates, is located at 1B-14 in NIT Faridabad. It’s a busy spot in hariyana and we’ve been here for a good number of years. The office is pretty simple, with a few desks and computers and plenty of shelves for all the records we have to keep. We mostly deal with the day-to-day work of being a CA, which means a lot of tax returns and bookkeeping. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of sitting and a lot of patience. We aren't the type of place that has a big corporate culture. We’re just a small team of real people who happen to be good with numbers. We don't use a lot of fancy English or try to sound more important than we are. When someone comes in with a problem, we just sit down and try to figure it out together. The traffic around NIT can be pretty loud, but once you’re inside the office, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and the occasional phone call. We have our regulars who have been with us since we started, and it’s nice to see the same faces every tax season. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone’s paperwork is in on time. It’s not a complicated philosophy; we just do the work that needs doing. It keeps us busy and it is a decent living for us all.
