Praveen General Store

Praveen General Store is based at 1B/126 in Nit, Faridabad. We are situated right near the Vijay Ram Leela Kameti. Being in the 121001 area, we see a lot of activity, especially when there are local events at the Kameti. The shop is a basic one-room space where we keep all sorts of daily necessities. I started this place because I wanted to work for myself, and it’s been going okay so far. It’s not a place where you’ll find fancy imported goods, just the stuff people in Faridabad use every day. The shelves are mostly made of metal and wood, and they are always full of various packets and jars. Sometimes I forget where I put the smaller items, so I have to hunt around for a minute while the customer waits. Everyone is usually patient though. The floor is concrete and easy to sweep, which is good because it gets dusty being so close to the road. I spend most of my day behind the counter. It can get a bit lonely when it’s quiet, so I usually listen to the radio to pass the time. We don't have any big employees, just me and occasionally a nephew who comes to help out. It’s a straightforward business. We provide what the neighborhood needs at 1B/126. If you are passing the Ram Leela grounds, we are just a short walk away. Come by if you need anything.
