Pooran Chand General Store is located at Shop No -C-22 in the Dabua Sabji Mandi area. This is in NIT 1 of Faridabad, on Air Force Road. Being inside a vegetable market means the environment is very different from a quiet residential street. It is always loud with the sounds of vendors and customers haggling over prices. There are also many trucks and carts moving around, so there is always a lot of dust and mud. We open the shop very early, even before the sun is fully up, to cater to the market crowd. We sell things like tea, sugar, spices, and cleaning items that the local workers and residents need. The shop is quite old and doesn't have any modern decorations. We just have sturdy wooden shelves that can hold the weight of many items. It is hard work because we are on our feet for most of the day. The industrial workers from the nearby factories also stop by on their way home. We don't have a big team, just a few of us working together. Sometimes it is a bit chaotic because of the location, but we are used to the noise and the crowd. We just focus on keeping our stock full and helping the people who walk in.
